What Are TTRPGs?
At their heart, tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) bring players together to tackle challenges (and chance) for an epic collaborative storytelling experience. Players take on the roles of characters in a shared narrative, guided by a Game Master (GM)—the person responsible for creating the world and facilitating the story. Unlike traditional board games or video games, TTRPGs aren’t confined by a game board, rigid rules, or programming. They allow players to use their creative agency and imagination to navigate the story, solve challenges, and shape outcomes.

What if learning could feel like an adventure?
That question changed everything for me. I've been a forever GM since 2022, but my love of storytelling started much earlier-with video games, comics, and the boundless worlds of imagination that gave me a sense of belonging when traditional classrooms couldn't. Now, I bring that same magic to the tabletop, blending collaborative storytelling, immersive soundscapes, and player-driven exploration to create worlds where heroes rise and every choice matters.
As a Game Master, educator, and founder of Roll with Guidance, I use tabletop roleplaying games as powerful tools for learning, connection, and growth. I've seen firsthand how they build confidence, boost literacy and math skills, and spark teamwork in both kids and adults.
Whether it's at the game table, in the classroom, or through community programs, my mission is simple: to help players of all ages discover the hero within-and remind them that imagination isn't just play, it's a pathway to transformation.
